2027 Color Report Edition 1: Active
The 2027 forecasted color palette works well for the activewear market in its entirety, as many of the general directions evolve from the previous 2026 active color spectrum.
Neutrals
Lightweight: Last year’s optic white digresses away from starkness into a soft, natural white. A clean, utilitarian version of grey emerges with a crisp quality.
Chameleon Shades: All hold slate-like richness and provide softer alternatives to darker hues while still giving depth. Versatile in application from true outdoor apparel to refined basics.
Color Tinted: Blue-grey continues from previous seasons, becoming a bit bluer, edging on a vintage indigo hue. Sage blue is the brightest of the colored neutrals while still capturing a neutralizing mineral quality. Terracotta continues in relevance, evolving into a rose-tinted variation.
Warm Hues
Solar orange and magenta bring the heat, adding a fiery element to any counterpart, while deep burgundy provides depth.
Cool Hues
Deep midnight shades of purple and blue reflect a nocturnal mystique.
An aquatic combination of bright aqua with a crisp, clear blue.
Statement-making emerald green is the newest green in the spectrum and helps to further evolve, offering options for fresh takes on a classic primary, updates to heritage - inspired patterning, and fantastical takes on nature
Pastels
Used as accents and highlights, providing glowing qualities to most color combinations. These colors diffuse bold hues that range from classic neutrals to peculiar shades and richly saturated jewel tones.
