What is Digital Product Creation?
In recent years, the fashion industry has undergone widespread evolution, adapting to technological and consumer trends. Digital product creation (DPC) has emerged as more than just another tool – it represents a fundamental shift in the way goods are designed, developed and brought to market. DPC is the process of conceptualizing, designing and refining products using advanced digital technologies including 3D design and virtual prototyping.
At its core, DPC enables fashion professionals to design and collaborate in a virtual space, which can accelerate creative processes, streamline costly product sampling and conserve resources associated with producing, shipping and storing prototypes.

Understanding Digital Fabrics
A digital fabric is a representation of a physical fabric that can be used in 3D apparel design software. Beyond simple images and textures, digital fabrics must reflect the visual characteristics and encompass fabric data related to drape behavior and more.
