  • Yarn formation—spinning and yarn numbering
  • Knitting—knitting cycle and basic constructions
  • Weaving—weaving cycle, terminology, and basic design
  • Preparation—objectives and processes
  • Dyeing—performance characteristics, dyestuffs, machinery
  • Finishing—chemical and physical
